Rubber pessary
Only gynaecologists/general practitioners are qualified to give advice and information on the choice and use of the device.
The rubber pessary is a ring whose dimensions in the various sizes are designed to adapt to the woman’s uterus. It is particularly indicated for those who are not in good enough health to undergo surgery or have contraindications for anaesthesia. A valid and discreet instrument that can prove useful in the case of problems associated with the correct function of the pelvic floor organs. Not just uterine prolapse, but also cystocele, rectocele and mild forms of incontinence, will be alleviated with use of this simple medical device.
With more than 40 years’ experience in the gynaecology sector, For.me.sa has made the pessary its core business, dedicating particular attention to its research and development, when for many it was still an almost unknown solution. As a matter of fact, although pessaries are a remedy that can be traced back to ancient times, it was not until modern times that they started being used for the conditions that are now known as POP (Pelvic Organ Prolapse).
